Inspirations: My Teacup Collection

If there's one thing I could say started this whole business, it would be teacups. They're small, they're adorable, and they have such amazing and ornate details. I have taken so much inspiration from teacups and put them into all our designs. I just love them! After collecting teacups for so many years, and this week I thought I'd share some of them with you!

TEASET COLLECTION

This was one of my first sets I bought for myself. I lived in Scotland for a year, and while I did I visited a lot of charity shops (thrift stores) and they always had some amazing finds! This set is by far the best find I ever came across!

It came with the teapot, and six cups and saucers for only £25 in total! What a steal! And my favorite part is how old the set is. The owner of the shop told me this special tea set was made in the 1920's. It just makes it feel extra special knowing it has a long history, doesn't it?

This tea set was a gift from my mother for my 21st birthday. I was so surprised when I opened up the box! It is so pink, and the detailing on the sides is so lovely. And she found it at an antique store, so you know it has a great history.

This amazing set came with the teapot, 6 cups and saucers, a milk container and a sugar bowl. It's absolutely one of my most treasured possessions, and I make sure to use it as often as I can!

TEACUP COLLECTION

Sometimes the teapot or other parts of the collection don't come with the set, as many of my sets are from thrift shops and antique stores. Because of that, I have a lot of teacups I collect that are just one or two in a set.

All of these have a special little story attached to them. One of my favorites, the light blue teacup on the left side, came in a set of three cups and saucers. I found them at a flea market in the south of France! Every time I sit down for tea and use it, I can't help but remember haggling in French for this amazing find.

With all their ornate detailing, I can't help but feel so inspired by my teacup and tea set collections. They bring me so much joy and when I'm able to use them, I feel so happy! That same feeling is what I wanted TourNewSoul to embody. The feeling of finding something beautiful and unique, and when you see it or wear it, you remember finding your perfect hat.

That's it for this week, but tune in next Wednesday for another post. And let us know what you'd like to read about in the comments!
